Short case study

Skyrr has been working closely with Kommunedata (now Scandihealth) in Denmark on a contract basis developing application software for use in the Danish Health Care market. The main reason for Skyrr being selected as a subcontractor was that inside Skyrr is competence in the development of large system for the public sector and professional skills in development tools like Natural, Adabas and DB2. Furthermore, Skyrr is ISO 9001 certified company.

Skyrr has been working on three projects for KMD. All three projects have been organized with offshore development team at Skyrr. The core team at Skyrr is supplemented with engineers with the required experience and knowledge to work on the project. The number of team members have been from 4 to 6 and are coordinated with a project leader which also takes care off all communication to key person at KMD and change management issues. The team members are connected by terminals to the development +environment at KMD because the modules the team is working on are related to other modules in the system. The terminal connection to KMD have been very stable and this arrangement has therefore worked out to be very effective.
